lyrics

Man Child
© Chris Falson Leather Chair Songs 2018

Say something silly, something absurd
Make up a riddle, one that no-one's heard
Let it be nonsense with no reason or rhyme
And soon there'll be laughter and wasting of time

And when the man learns how to be like a child again
Forsaking all the rules made by men
It's only then that he sees that there's more to life
And he learns to laugh, and laugh at himself

The all important things he now understands
As the child becomes the father of man
His heart will open up to the universe
And his own world will seem so small
