I Think I'm Ready All of my days In shadows watching others walk in the sun invisible chains restraining me from trusting anyone and the hurt inside was comfort to me at times the best of friends but I knew in my heart this poison would kill me in the end I think I'm ready to let things go yeah maybe its scary but I want to know how to free myself from the shame to move on with no one else to blame I could wear so many faces find a million ways to hide but I couldn't see a way in from the outside bridge and all these years I've been doing time for somebody else's crime I never had the courage until now to sing my song I've carried this weight all by myself far too long

Jamming with the Angels Chris Falson © 1992 Leather Chair Songs I hear angels Jamming on my roof top They take this house of mine Into heaven Oh they’re having a good time Watching over me They take this heart of mine Into heaven It’s another world Oh up on the rooftop It’s another world Jamming with the angels Teach me a new song I need a song from the future I’ll sing it to the world A song from heaven No more bringing in the sheaves Those days are gone You got to get a little rhythm To sing in heaven It’s another world… Angels sing darkness fades away Peace on earth, how do I feel? I’ve got to jam the night away Sing me a new song I need a song from the future I’ll sing it to the world A song from heaven No more rock of ages cleft for me Those days are gone You got to get a little rhythm To sing in heaven

Love Found Me (c) Leather Chair Songs 2004 I went searching for wisdom I cried out to her night and day I waited at the city gates hoping she would pass my way then I found love yeah I found love or should I say love found me I gave myself to religion became a follower of the word I tried so hard to live up to everything that I heard then I found love..... I chased after freedom Until I became it’s slave I made everybody follow me just for freedom’s sake then I found love..... I went looking for justice so I entered the law I became it’s advocate I partitioned the highest court then I found love.....

about

The Release is a short film that deals with both the effect of child abuse on adulthood and the healing that can take place when we 'release' the burdens of guilt and emotional wounds . These songs, all written by Chris Falson were used in the soundtrack. The song "I Think I'm Ready" was written for the film and features the beautiful voice of Sandra Stephens. We have included both the acoustic and full version of the song as they were both used in the film.
